Phil comes from a family of musicians. (3 brothers and two sisters) Phil's first guitar was home made from screenwire and a cigar box. WOW! He had his first gig for money when he was 12 years old. His first "real" guitar was ordered from Montgomery Ward catalog. He's played for country bands all around the area, sometimes accompanying Reba McIntire before she got to be somebody. In addition to bass guitar, Phil also plays the fiddle, lead guitar and harmonica. |
