Junior learned to play mandolin (get this) in ONE WEEK, when he was
13 years old. A guy (Hugh Isabel) left his mandolin at their house one day
because it was raining and didn't want to get it wet. Junior, knowing that he
didn't have much time, taught himself to play one tune in that week. That tune
was Sweethearts are Strangers. Junior says that once you get that one
tune under your belt, the rest is not so hard.
